J G Hale Construction will be the builder constructing the new homes on the old Dyffryn School site.
JG Hale Construction claim to be one of the largest providers of social housing throughout South Wales, delivering major construction projects on behalf of local authorities, housing associations, and the commercial building sector alongside procuring inhouse land led package deals.

Geraint Thomas will be the Contract Manager for the construction phase.
Geraint’s journey into construction began with a Foundation Degree in Surveying, followed by a Project Management Degree. Since then, Geraint has worked as a Site Manager, Project Manager, and Construction Manager across an array of projects ranging from £3m – £27m, varying from RC Frame, to SFC, Timber Frame, and Traditional Build. Geraint is well versed with innovative technologies, specialising in eco-friendly developments, having successfully delivered Net Zero schemes, designed to Passivhaus Principles.
I have requested a revised ‘up-to-date’ plan for the construction of the new homes as the original plan was for work to begin on the substructures on 22nd July 2024.
