17/03/2025 Update from Geraint Thomas at Hale:
‘Just thought I’d give you a little update to progress on site so far and the upcoming works.
To date, we have installed foundations to 20 plots, including one of the apartment blocks, and we are on with substructure block work and drainage works, ahead of the slab installation.
We have also installed 2 out of the 3 SAB tanks, which will hold all the surface water and allow this to infiltrate deep in the ground below the site build up.
We are also installing storm and foul drainage to the highway and car park A area, with the road build up under way to allow us to tarmac the road in the coming weeks.
We will continue to pull foundations and complete the below slab works, as well as our slab build up ahead of timber frame construction. We are forecasting this build to start on the 1st week of May. By this time we will also have the road in place.
