A local resident has contacted RSPB Cymru regarding the tree felling at Dyffryn School and the impact this would have on wildlife such as birds. RSPB Cymru advised the resident to raise these concerns with Neath Port Talbot Council, however their advice was to go back to RSPB Cymru.
Nesting birds are protected by law and RSPB Cymru have now informed the resident by email that it is a legal matter that should be reported to the police to investigate.
